About GIDI LIVE

GIDI LIVE is a real-time, community-powered information network for Nigeria. It lets anyone check what is happening right now — traffic, accidents, flooding, power outages, road closures, security incidents and more — across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. When you see something, you can report it in seconds, add a photo and location, and help everyone around you make smarter, safer decisions. Reports are strengthened by the community: other users confirm what they witness, so the most reliable information rises to the top and becomes GIDI-verified.

Beyond incident reports, GIDI LIVE answers everyday questions. Ask the community anything — the best route to take, where to find a trusted mechanic, which areas have water tonight — and discover local businesses and services near you, city by city.

It is built for every Nigerian: commuters planning their route before leaving home, residents checking what is happening in their neighbourhood, business owners reaching their community, and diaspora members staying connected to what is happening back home. Reporting is quick, free, and can be anonymous.

GIDI LIVE is built and maintained by Giditraffic.com, Nigeria's community-driven traffic and information platform, committed to open, community-driven information. See it. Report it. Know it.
